Other interests include Harry Potter (I'm a Huffleclaw), His Dark Materials (my daemon should be obvious), Diana Wynne Jones' books (especially Chrestomanci), travel, Nintendo games, nature, aquariums, Neil Gaiman (yes, both his writing and him as a person), Doctor Who, and Being Human (BBC).

Today’s purchases and the reason why you should never let me go in anywhere with DVD offers on. When I watch Never Let Me Go at least the crying will be hopefully lessened somewhat by yelling CLEVEDON at the screen every time it pops up, as long as I don’t suddenly become homesick. Seeing that poster always makes me happy though, my little town’s famous :D. Submarine on the other hand may make me want to punch my laptop as the main actor reminds me of a complete dick I used to know. Either way it should be fun :).

I have the same thing with DVD sales - Hastings is always having “buy one used DVD, get one for $1”, so I end up with a lot of DVDs. I bought NLMG in one of those sales, actually! For me it will always remind me of London, because I saw it there in a film festival (also I bought the book after seeing the movie, and read it on the plane home).
I still haven’t seen Submarine. (I keep meaning to, because I loved him in Being Human.)
